Layers of fibers are kept together to achieve the wanted thickness and then they are matted/entangled/interlocked to make the fabric you call felt. The nonwoven materials and industrial felts can serve as insulation from sound or heat, weight-saving replacements for plastic of metal parts, padding, and structural reinforcement. The Insulation Nonwoven Felt is very easy to use.
